A Kashmiri student who wants to meet his parents and Left leader Sitaram Yechury should be allowed to visit Jammu and Kashmir, the Supreme Court ruled today, hearing petitions against the end of special status to the state under Article 370 and travel and security restrictions in place for nearly a month.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने वाम नेता सीताराम येचुरी को जम्मू एवं कश्मीर में पार्टी कार्यकर्ता से मिलने की अनुमति दी. सीताराम येचुरी ने पहले जम्मू-कश्मीर जाने की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन उन्हें श्रीनगर एयरपोर्ट से वापस भेज दिया गया था. येचुरी के साथ ही एक छात्र को भी अपने माता-पिता से मिलने की मंजूरी दी गई है. बता दें, मार्क्सवादी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी के महासचिव सीताराम येचुरी और भाकपा के डी राजा पहले जब जम्मू-कश्मीर गए थे तो उन्हें एयरपोर्ट पर हिरासत में ले लिया गया था. यह जानकारी सीपीआई (एम) ने ट्वीट करके दी थी.
